User data deletion

You can delete the personal data SkillNest holds about you, including the name, email address, profile photo, and Facebook user id we receive if you sign in with Facebook. This page is public. You do not need a SkillNest account to read it or to check a confirmation code.

Ask SkillNest directly

1. Email hello@skillnest.com from the address on your account.
2. Use the subject “Delete my SkillNest account” and include the name on the account.
3. We deactivate the account and remove the profile data tied to it, then reply to confirm.

Remove SkillNest from Facebook

If you signed in with Facebook, you can start deletion from Facebook:

1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy, then Settings.
2. Open Apps and websites and remove SkillNest.
3. Choose the option to send a data deletion request.

Facebook sends that request to SkillNest. We then delete the Facebook login and the profile data that came with it. If Facebook is the only way you sign in, we also deactivate the SkillNest account and erase the name, email, phone number, and photo on it. If you also sign in with email, Google, or Apple, those sign-in methods stay, and only the Facebook link is removed.
